This is totally normal!. When you got the flu shot it goes into your muscle so it causes a bruise!. You can rub the area that hurts so you don't get a knot/lump there or if its really painful, try putting some heat on it to relax your muscle some!. It'll go away in a few days!. Hope your arm feels better :^)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The flu jab should be given either by intramuscular injection into the Deltoid muscle or by deep subcutaneous injection into the tissue above(over) the deltoid muscle!.

If yours was given too far down the upper arm ,as was mine recently you will probably have a very sore and stinging lump at the injection site and an inflamed area surrounding it!.

It will still be effective and the reaction will die down !.
You could try applying heat in the form of a hot water bottle!.
Exercise your arm alsoWww@Answer-Health@Com

its normal there is nothing to worry about some injections have this side effect some dnt!. My nan and grandad have to have their flu jabs every year and they get the same pain!. I also do on some injections!. This pain will; go away with time I promiseWww@Answer-Health@Com

You could have gotten some type of infection and/or you may be reacting to the injection!. I I were you I would treat it with hot and cold compresses and stop taking flu shots in the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all you are becoming too conscious about your pain and it's only becoming psychologically inflicting !. Stop touching the spot!. You are just slowing down the healing process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The place where you get your flu shot will usually hurt for 3 or 4 days after you get itWww@Answer-Health@Com
