What exactly are tampons like?!

Question: What exactly are tampons like!?
I don't want to use them!.
But is there a chance that I will HAVE to use them, regardless if I want to or not!? I'm only on my second period, and I've been reading, and I'm sort of scared!. Do tampons feel uncomfortable!? How far do they go!? I'm running out of questions!. =/Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You won't HAVE to use them if you don't want to!. I think I didn't use a tampon till I was 19 years old, 8 years after I got my period for the first time!. But once I started using them, I regretted not using them before!. I was nervous, unsure if I'd use them right, but it's actually really easy to use them, and it's good to figure out where all your body parts are!. Plus, I had missed many opportunities to swim because I had my period and was afraid to use a tampon!.

When a tampon is in, you can't feel it--there are no nerves inside your vagina, except at the very outside!. So it's WAY more comfortable than a pad, because pads can kind of be thick, and there's the worry of someone seeing your pad, or you leaking!. There's much less risk of leaking with a tampon!. It doesn't go in very far--it just goes to the top of your vagina!. It's impossible to go in too far, because that's the end, there's nowhere else to go!. And the string is there so it's easy to pull out!. If you want to experiment with a tampon, get the lightest kind (regular or lite days) because that's the smallest!. And get a plastic applicator, like pearl, because that's the easiest to use!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You do not have to use tampons if you don't want to!. It's completely your choice!. I used pads for the first few years!. Most girls do!. When you get more comfortable with your body, you may want to try tampons!. If they feel uncomfortable, then they are not in correctly!. It needs to be inside your body, not even sticking out a little bit!. They're actually quite comfortable and much more convenient than pads!. I don't really feel anything (except for the string sticking out a little) when it's in correctly!. You have plenty of time to get used to your period and your body!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think they are the best invention ever!.!.!.!. it's like you don't even know you have your period!.!.!. BUT i will never forget my first time trying to put one in!!! what a disaster! it is just awkward!! but it's like riding a bike, once you get it, you get it!!! it's not as difficult as it seems!. of course you don't have to! you don't have to do anything you don't want to!.!.!.!. you just can't swim with your period without them!
