Um-mm!. It is unhealthy!. It is also illegal to do if you are under the age of 18!. I am not sure why you are asking about an "appropriate" age to try smoking!. Are you trying to impress someone by smoking or are you trying to fit in with people!? i started casually smoking when i was 15 because a few of my friends smoked, i would just have a few puffs of their cigarettes whenever they were smoking, this turned into having my own cigarette every now and again then before i knew it i was buying whole packs for myself!. so please do not even try smoking, it's expensive, unattractive and slowly kills you with every puff!. i'm trying to quit now and it's the hardest thing in the world to do!. Don't even try it!. Not worth it!. I went through that phase when I was in junior high school!. My mother smoked so me and my friends got cigarettes so easily because she would leave them around the house and then smoke them IN the house, so we could steal a few and smoke them without ever being caught!.
Let me tell you, it makes you smell terrible!. It sticks to your clothes and hair!. Your breath will smell like a dirty ashtray!. Try having someone who smokes speak to you and blow their breath in your face, its disgusting!.
Not to mention the fact you are just clogging your lungs with so many chemicals and even if you try it ONCE there is the possibility of you becoming addicted because of the ingredients in it and then it will be too hard to stop!.
Cigarettes are also now SO expensive!. Keep in mind smokers can smoke up to 3 packs a day!!! That's about 30$ a day on cigarettes alone!. Ok, so is it cool to pay $30 a day and pay for your death!? We have enough to pay for in life, death shouldn't be one of them!.

This guy I know is addicted and he has horrible smokers cough and he coughs up BLACK phlegm and blood!. It's horrifying to think about what his lungs actually look like!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is never a right age to start smoking, but if you do try you should wait until you are legally allowed to smoke!. But still it's bad for your lungs and I know people who died because of cancers from smoking!. So it'd be best for you to never try it or start it, that way you don't have to suffer later on in your life!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
