Answers:
An endocrinologist is NOT a "food doctor," it is a doctor who specializes in the synthesis and function of hormones!.

Yes, I would definitely suggest seeing one if you can!. Get your levels tested, get supplementation if you need it, and your quality of life can greatly improve!. You do not have to deal with mood swings and hot flashes for the rest of your life!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know how long ago your hysterectomy was, but sometimes, even when the ovaries are left, they can shut down anyway!. Your gynecologist probably has plenty of experience with this, and would be my first suggestion!. If you can't can't get the answer you're looking for from him or her, an endocrinologist might be the next step!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off an endocrinologist is not a "food" doctor!. They are specialists in endocrine glands and their systems including thyroid, pancreas and hormones!. Your gyne should do just as well as this is their area!. But if you are diabetic or have thyroid issues you should see an endocrinologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had a hysterectomy also and only have one ovary and I don't have to see an edocrinologist!. My hormones are horrible too but I just go to my OB doctor for it!. It wouldn't hurt to go see one but you really shouldn't have to!.

Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com
