Light period whilst on the depo contraception injection?!
Question: Light period whilst on the depo contraception injection!?
Ok so i got the depo injection around the 17th October, they told me that i wouldn't get a period for the 3mos of this depo working!.
But last night, i got some blood and still have some this morning, its very very light and brownish, and this is nearly 2mos after receiving the depo!.
Can this normally happen!? Or is it not suppose to and im suppose to not bleed at all!?
Thanks in advance!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the depo injection and I get a light period, usually when I am due to have the next jab!. I asked my GP about it and he said it was normal!. I was on it for 2 years and never had a period at all , but I had a break from it for a while and then went back on it and this time I have found I have a light period every 3 months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are u talking of depo-provera !? if yes, adverse events are - menstrual irregularities (bleeding or amenorrhea or both), abdominal pain or discomfort, weight changes, headache, asthenia (weakness or fatigue), and nervousness!.
Apart from this this is also known to cause bone-degenaration!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My ex used to have that and she would get occasional spotting, nothing like a normal period though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
