Question: Is it possible for girls of around the age of thirteen to get breast cancer!?
im thirteen and breats cancer runs in my family!. i was just wondering if i can get breast cancer now, and what the symptoms are!.

It is extremely EXTREMELY rare for a 13 year old girl to get breast cancer (i'm talking a 1 in 1000000 chance)!.
Fortunately breast cancer has a trend to discriminate (contrary to what was said above)!. You will find that around 9/10 breast cancers occur in women over the age of 50 years!. You will also find that 9/10 breast lumps are not cancerous!.
Symptoms of breast cancer usually include any of the following and usually more then one-
1!. a breast lump (that feels like a stone)
2!. a change in the shape and appearance of the breast (you are at the stage of puberty so your breasts are probably changing anyway!. When i say change in appearance i mean an in-dint or dimpling or a strange rash that does not go away)
3!. a discharge (fluid) from the nipple
4!. breast pain is a rare symptom and is usually due to hormones!.
I would not worry about it at your age, but it is good that you are well aware that you maybe at risk in the future!. When you are older, you should talk to your doctor about when you should start getting mammograms (scans of your breasts)!. You should maybe talk to your mum about it, as it may effect her as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, because their boobs aren't developed all the way!.
if you have lumps in your boobs at an age of 10-15 most likely it wouldn't be breast cancer!.
But if your worried you really have it then go see a doc!.
But I've never herd of a teen getting breast cancer!.

Yes, you can get breast cancer!. It does not discriminate!. Symptoms will vary according to each person!. No one is the same!. You can have cancer and not know it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
