Why does the "pain relief medication" for a yeast infection hurt so mu!

Question: Why does the "pain relief medication" for a yeast infection hurt so much to apply!?
I took this at home kit from Vagisil that told me I had a yeast infection so I went to the pharmacist and she helped me pick out this relief medication that is supposed to clear up the whole thing and make it not hurt but:

A!. how can it be cleared up by a topical external cream when the problem is clearly INside me!?
and
B!. why does it burn when i apply it!? Should this be happening!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You're right, it actually can't be cleared up by topical cream, you need to get the kind of cream that comes with an applicator to put inside! I haven't ever heard of anything that you didn't have to put inside you, definitely external antifungal cream will NOT fix the infection, it will feel better but will just start itching again as soon as you stop using it!.

I don't know about burning, that sounds strange!. Is it actually antifungal cream, or is it something that just numbs it like Vagisil!? Antifungal cream is super mild and shouldn't burn at all!. If it is antifungal cream, you probably have to go back to get the internal kind with an applicator anyway, so definitely try another brand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's weird!. Are you sure you're following the directions!? Yeast infection treatments come with some kind of cream or suppository to put inside, with a tampon-like applicator!. They sometimes have cream too, to put outside to sooth the itching!. But you're supposed to use the internal cream for the actual cure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, why are you trusting a vagisil kit!? If you think you have something wrong with your vagina, you need to see a Dr and not trust some kit you can buy at the drug store!.
I wouldn't be putting stuff on my vag if it hasn't been seen by a Dr!Www@Answer-Health@Com
