Answers:
A lot of women kill two birds with one pill LOL!. It will regulate your periods and be a useful contraceptive and it may clear acne if you have it!. If you were regular and now your not, you need to get a checkup when you go to get your prescription!. There might be a hormone imbalance, that needs to be checked into!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

is it the irregularity or unpredictable arrival of periods that bothers you!?

If you want to be able to tell when your period is coming its useful to know what ovulation mucus looks like and then whenever you see it you know your period is 2 weeks away!. Ovulation mucus is clear and sticky like raw eggwhite!. If you arent ovulating your periods are going to irregular no matter what!.

You could go on the pill but then its not your natural period that arrives regularly its a breakthrough/withdrawal bleed that happens!.!.!.!.chances are when you go off the pill things may still be messed up!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am 29 and I have had irregular periods my whole life!. Most doctors are not concerned over this issue, when I was younger I went to several doctors and they all said it was nothing to be concerned about!. If you are sexually active, especially at your age, I would definitely recommend birth control!. Not just to regulate your periods but to prevent an unwanted pregnancy!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are a lot of side effects of going on the pill, buuut unless you want to constantly worry if your period's going to come or not I'd recommend it!. I hated worrying about that, and it helped get it regular!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that it isn't recommended to take birth control if you have irregular periods!. It's hard to catch ovulation if you're irregular!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it's really worring you a lot you should ask a doctor about it!. Whether it is an issue or not, you would know and it wouldn't be bothering you so much any more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
