Should I tell my doctor about ovulation pain?!

Question: Should I tell my doctor about ovulation pain!?
Every month, about 12 days after the start of my last period, I get pain on either side of my abdomen for a couple days!.

I have been getting this ever since I started getting my period!. It's not that painful; it's definitely manageable!.

I'm pretty sure it's ovulation pain!. Could this be caused by anything serious, and is it worth mentioning to my doctor!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get the same thing, but yes its a good idea to talk to your doctor about any kind of pain you might be having when it comes to your period!. My doc put me on the pill and that helped with the pain and really it helped with PMS as well!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

each month when you ovulate you form a follicle on one of your ovaries!.
as your egg matures you have a surge in your LH hormone which causes the follicle to rupture and release you egg!. Some women feel this pain (I do myself!.!.so I know which ovary i'm ovulating from!) and it is perfectly normal to feel it!.
Although it's mildly uncomfortable, when you do want to concieve, it's a great indicator as to when you're most fertile!.

Take care!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get pain when I ovulate too!. I get a dull ache in my lower back!. Honestly I don't think it's worth giving a second thought!. It just comes with territory!. However if the pain worsens then you should mention it and she can check for ovarian cysts, which are quite common!. They actually tend to just go away on their own too!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
