Answers:
I'd suggest you get measured professionally!. You can do the tape measure thing at home but it will be more accurate if you get a professional to do it for you!. When I measured myself using the same technique others have described it gave me 36B, but once I got it done in a shop it turned out to be 34DD!. As for ordering online, yeah that can be awkward but I'd just go with the size they say you are in the shop, or just buy bras that you can try on first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How to measure yourself:

1!.measure around your chest, just below your breasts!.
2!. Add 5 inches if it is an odd number, add 4 inches if it is an even number!. this is your bra measurement (e!.g!. 34A (the 34 bit))
3!. to find out what cup you need, measure around the fullest part of your breasts!.
4!. if the two numbers (your chest + 4/5 inches and breast size) are the same you need an AA cup
if the numbers are different by 1 inch you are A cup
if the numbers are different by 2 inches you are a B cup
if the numbers are different by 3 inches you are a C cup

e!.g
Natalies first measurment was 27 inches!. adding 5 inches gives her 32 inches!. This is her bra measurment!.
Natalies 2nd measure ment was 33inches!.
the difference between the two numbers is 1 inch so she needs a 32A bra!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Determine Frame & Bra Size
The frame size is the diameter around your chest JUST BELOW your breasts!. Using the tape measure, measure around your ribcage directly under your breasts!. There should be no breast tissue measured while determining your frame size!. Record your results on the printed form!.

To determine the bra size, add 5 to this number!. If the number you get is odd, round up to the next even number!. For example, if your frame size is 26 inches, when you add 5 to this you get 31 inches!. You should therefore round up to the even number which is 32 inches (since bras only come in even numbers)!. This is your bra size, 32 inches!.

2!. Determine Breast Size
The next measurement goes around the chest over and including the fullest part of your bust (usually at the level of the nipples)!. Technically, you should take this measurement while wearing a comfortable bra!. This is the diameter of your chest+breast!. Record this number on the form!.

3!. Calculate Cup Size
Now, take the chest + breast size number, and subtract your bra size number!. Then use the table below to determine your cup size!.
Difference (line 5 minus 4)

Cup Size
0 to 1/2 inch

AA
1/2 to 1 inch

A
1 to 2 1/2 inches

B
2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches

C
3 1/2 to 4 1/2 inches

D
4 1/2 to 6 inches

DD (E)
6 to 7 inches

DDD (F)
7 to 8 inches

G
etc!., etc!.

etc!.

4!. Example
Let's assume your frame size is 31 inches, your bra size is therefore 36 inches (31 + 5 = 36 inches)!. In addition, assume you measured your chest+breast size at 40 inches!. Now, take your chest+breast size (40), and subtract your bra size (36)!. You get 4 inches as the difference!. Using the table above, you find that anyone with a difference between 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 inches (including 4) has a cup size D!. Your correct bra and cup size is therefore 36 D!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best answer I can give is one that you probably won't like as it'll make you feel embarrassed!.

If you go somewhere like Marks and Spencer or John Lewis in the underwear department there will be someone who will be able to measure you properly!. I did this when I was your age!. I was bright red and my cheeks were burning but I kept saying this is their job, they do it every day, I'm not embarrassed!. It was worth it!. I just wished I'd told the lady how I felt at the beginning and not the end!.
