It depends on the person but for a really athletic girl, the percentage of body fat has to go below either 10% or 7% (again, it depends on genetics)!. For an anorexic girl, disturbances in the menstrual cycle can occur almost immediately due to the stress placed on the body!. However, for it to disappear completely, the body fat percentage has to be low, like 10%-7% total!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
idk, but when I played vball, i used to practice like 4hours a day for 6 days a week!. It was like intense workout!. Not only that, I hit the gym like 4times a week to do other workouts!. My periods were very irregular!. I ate like healthy and took multivitaminsWww@Answer-Health@Com
Its not a good sign if you loose your period, so if you do stop then your body might be lacking in iron - causing anemia (loss of red blood cells) so if that does happen be sure to eat red meats, and other iron rich foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
