I'm a guy, and I'm almost 50 years old, but I would have benefited hugely from most of this advice myself the first time *I* had sex - at age 13!. No regrets, but I know now that we both would have fared a lot better if we'd thought about these things even for a few days!.

It can hurt, but not always!. You just have to be very relaxed and ready for it!. Spend a lot of time on foreplay and maybe use some artificial lube, which you can buy in any pharmacy!. If your hymen is still intact then it might hurt as it tears and you might see a bit of blood but it may have been torn before now through exercise or tampons!.
