Can I skip the blank pills on my Yaz pack without many side effects?!

Question: Can I skip the blank pills on my Yaz pack without many side effects!?
I started Yaz this summer and there are only 4 days of blank pills (unlike previous pills I've taken with a whole week of these pills!.) I really don't want my period during Christmas so I was thinking of skipping those pills!. I already feel like I don't have a full period on Yaz, will this mess this up even more!? Need to know today!.!.!.would start the blank pills today!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's fine to do this!. I've done it before, but I ended up having a period anyway, so it can make your cycle more irregular but there are NO health risks!. There are absolutely no documented health risk associated with not having a period!. Some people think it is "unnatural" and will base their opinions off of that like it is fact, but the fact is taking a pill to prevent pregnancy is unnatural too!. The original developer of the birth control pill only threw in the inactive pills because he thought it would make it more acceptable and seem more "natural" to women to continue to have their periods!.

It's fine, just don't skip any active pills (which I'm sure you know) and don't be surprised if you still do get a period!. I never got heavier periods because of doing this, just irregular spotting at times!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You do mean starting a new pack instead of taking the blanks right!? Ive done it acouple times (also on yaz)!. There are no health risks to it, but you may still spot a little and you may end up being a little off or heavier next month!. Then again you may run just normal other then skipping your period!. Would not try doing it all the time though without talking to your dr!.!.!.!.!.!.but to do it every once in a while isnt bad!.

If you want to keep your period falling at the same time as it has been (i know i got mine so it starts tuesdays so i have no chance of worrying bout it on weekend) then start the new pack at the start of the fourth week, or else you will push yourself to starting packs and starting your period 3 days later in the week!.

However if you mean just not taking them and starting your new pack at the normal time you would, that is no different then if you took them!. They are just reminder pills!.!.!.!.they dont cause your period, its being off the active pills that allow the periodWww@Answer-Health@Com

the blank pills are supposed to be taken so that you remember to take the real dose 4 days later!. this is to keep you on a "cycle" since normally your hormonal cycle goes "up and down"; the four blank pills correspond to the "down" part of the cycle!.

if you skip the blanks and take the real dose you'll have too much* synthetic hormone in your down cycle at the wrong time!. i really can't say what the effects are (but consider the side effects pamphlet), but i wouldn't mess with the dose just because it is inconvenient to have a period during christmas!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is is a 28 day cycle!?
If so, you can skip the sugar pills at the end

If they are main pills, then you can skip a day and take 2 the next day!. If its more than 2 days, it gets risky and you may need to start a new pack!.

Consult a doctor and read the instructions contained within your Yasmine pill package!.

Also, use a condom from now until the end of the pack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i am actually doing that and i havent had my period in three months because i am skipping the sugar pills and i thought i would be fine and then one of my friends was like oh but your tissue needs to come out or something and im starting the sugar pills today so i have no idea if i should take them or notWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can!. The blank pills are not there for anything but to remind you to keep taking the pill daily!. They have absolutely no hormones in them and not taking them won't give you any side effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to take the blank pills!. if it's only four days and it's light, just let it be!. it can really mess up your cycle and it could make your next period very heavy and painful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you consider pregnancy a side effect!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
