PCOS, getting off birth control pill for Mirena?!
Question: PCOS, getting off birth control pill for Mirena!?
Will my estrogen levels go down!? Since the Mirena doesnt have estrogen in it!? Will this effect my PCOS!? Does anybody have any info about this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont think it will affect that much!. i wouldnt be worried!. it may take a little bit for your cycle and hormones to get used to the new med!. but it shouldnt be an issueWww@Answer-Health@Com
iuno good question, i also have pcos!. the doctor recomended that to me since I always forget the pill!. I would assume yes bc the doc recommend it knowing i have pcos!. But ask your doc!. Everyones case of pcos is diffrent,trust me on that one!. I said no bc I work on a ob/gyn floor at the hospital I see alot of eptopic pregnancies come in lately,and its not a pretty site after the surgery to remove the fetus/iud!. Especially if it ruptures!. So if it is ok for you to get it and u decide to just wear protection bc epttopic pregnancies not so fun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
