Question: Advice for switching birth control!?
I'm on Jolessa now!. It's generic for Seasonale, the 4-periods-a-year pill!. I'm experiencing too much spotting between periods, though!. The progestin active ingredient is levonorgestrel!.

Should I look for another with the same active progestin!? What birth control works best for you!? Especially for relieving cramps-I have pretty bad cramps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would look into an IUD!. i believe you can get a copper one that doesnt have any kinds of hormones, or you can get the standard hormonal one!.

IUD really is by far the best!. its been the number one choice in europe for decades!. the only reason its not #1 in usa is because the dr's make a lot more money selling the pill!.!.!.and i mean A WHOLE LOT more money!. i dont have to tell you that usa is greed capital of the world, so thats why the pill is recommended here the most!. (and of course no one will tell you thats the reason, but you will see the evidence if you do the research!.)

so many of the side effects of pills dont happen with an IUD!. also, you just put them in and have nothing to worry about for 5 yrs (depending on brand) or more sometimes!. technically, they are more effective as well, because it eliminates the variable of human mistakes (missing a pill, taking it at iregular intervals, getting sick and throwing it up, forgetting to check the calander to see if you can have sex that day, ect)

EDIT--
yes the usa is capital of not giving long term birth control to women becasue they would loose TRILLIONS in healthcare of newborns and infants!. (the greed of this country sickens me sometimes, lol)!. call up your local planned parenthood and see what they have to say about IUD!. if they dont like it, call the next 1-2 closest planned parenthood centers!. they should give it to you for free!. also, your college should have some kind of insurance/student health plan!.
and acutally, an IUD isnt that expensive!.!.!.so even if you had to pay for it yourself, you can prob save up over a few months to cover the cost of it!. call up a few places before you rule it out!.

as far as gettin denied for long term, you are right, but IUD is not permanent, so it wont be as hard as other bc!. ive heard of a few stories about women being denied this stuff, but the bottom line is that if you try enough places, youll eventually find somebody willing to help you!. it may take 10-20 places, but youll find it!.

if u cant get it!.!.!.!.just talk to your dr about switching pills!. the dr wont know with one will be best for you, but youll just have to try a few till you like one!. my gf has been thru at least 3-4 diff b!.c!. pills tryiing to find one that feels best for her!. the good news is that your smart enough to already be on bc! : )Www@Answer-Health@Com
