First month on birth control is really annoying, any opinions, experiences?!

Question: First month on birth control is really annoying, any opinions, experiences!?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost two months now!. So that I won't make the same mistake my brother did with his girlfriend (now wife), I decided to go on the pill!. From what I understand, it takes about a full month, and going through the first pack of pills for the birth control to be fully effective against pregnancy--that's why I haven't had sex yet!. I'm on Ortho Novum, generic version, Necon 1/35!. I'm almost through my first pack!. I have 21 active pills and 7 sugar pills at the end!.
Right now I'm on my second sugar pill, almost done with the first pack and the side effects ARE REALLY ANNOYING!!
*The first week of taking it I was really nausea and because of that I only ate like one meal a day!.
*My breasts have gone up one cup size!.
*During my last week of the taking active pills I started to bleed!. This bleeding has been happening on and off for about over a week now!. It's been very light, nothing debilitating, but it's really annoying and making me have to go out and spend extra money on feminine products!.
*I've been really moody, more anxious and depressed than usual!. Let's just say I've had crying spells, felt very unmotivated, told off my friends, can't concentrate, and along with worsening bad thoughts--I haven't done that before being on the pill!. I do have an anxiety disorder and I'm taking antidepressants for it!. I wonder if the birth control is conflicting with this and is causing my hormones to be all over the place!?
I tell the ppl at Planned Parenthood about this and they said that it's normal and that I should stick it out a little longer, and that if it persists, I could try getting a readjustment!.
Anyone else's experience on the pill!? I just feel like I could shoot the next person that sets me off and cry uncontrollably, lol!. I wonder if it's hormones all over the place!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My first month of YAZ birth control pills was exactly the same, followed by the worst period in the world :-/ I actually cried everyday the week of Christmas, and I LOVE that time of the year!. I'm on the 2nd month now, and while I'm still having minor side effects, it's MUCH better this month! Sometimes it takes your body a month or two to get adjusted!. If it doesn't get better, I'd talk to your Dr!. and see if he can recommend a different brand or type of pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was on birth control for a little under three months and I experienced pretty much the same thing!. I was feeling sick all the time and allwayssssss grumpy! I hated it and decided not to stick it out as the doctor told me, and to give up because I don't need it anyway, it feels unnatural for my body and I was only on it for cramping reasons!. So yeah!.!.!.!. i didn't like it lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've never had any side effects at all on the pill, so i can't really help you out!.

however, i would like to correct you on one point: you can still have sex before the pill is effective; just use a condom! the pill is effective long before a month, anyway!. it is effective immediately if you are a day-1 start and after 7 days if you start at any other time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i believe the mood swings are normal!.!.
just try to stick it out until ur next pack!.!.
good luck hun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
