Help please, bad side effects from beta blockers (bedranol)?!

Question: Help please, bad side effects from beta blockers (bedranol)!?
I'm 17, For a while i've been really stressed out with loads of different things, it all got too much and i had a big panic attack at college, and then kept having them when i was in busy places and stress from college!.

My doctor put me on bedranol (Ive been on 1 a day for just over a week)!.!. to slow my heart rate down, it has helped with that, but the side effects are really bad!.!. i have a bad headache permanently, tummy aches, drowsiness, really tired no energy, feeling depressed & hallucinations and so on!.!.!.

Should i carry on taking them!?

Im in so much pain, but the doctor has told me to take them for a month!.!. :(

Has anyone experienced all this!.!. or have any advice to help with my headaches!?

Thanks

Answers:
I was on a beta blocker for a while to control my heart rate as well!.!.!.although, I did not have the side effects you are talking about, they made me overly emotional!.!.!.I'm not a crier, but if someone raised their voice to me, the tears started!.!.!.

I think you should talk to your doctor!. Perhaps there is a lower dose you could be on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

SIDE EFFECTS:
You may experience dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, tiredness, diarrhea, unusual dreams, trouble sleeping, or vision problems
as your body adjusts to the medication!. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go back to the doctor and explain what is happening!.Medication, with certain exceptions, notably chemotherapy,is supposed to make you feel better, failing that, ask for a second opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My best advice is let your family know that and let them take you to a different doctor, you have to remember that all doctors are not the same, what someone think is right, someone else can find it wrong, and what this doctor might not be able to see, someone else could find it!.
My other advice for you is to try to relax, go to the beach, go out with your buddies or boy friend or something, chill out for a sec, I know that College life can be stressful, however, relax, and at the beginning do not take too many courses, take like 4 or so at the 1st semester, which should get your feet wet and get you used to the College life style, and make you find yourself and figure out what you want to do!.
Do not party all night long and do not drift into drugs and drinking, which is 90% of why students loses their Scholarships and Financial Aids, and eventually quit or getting kicked out of college!.
It is ok to go out once every blue moon, but always e careful!.
Let your family know about your side effects and let them help you with it, and no one will love you and care about you more than your family,
I hope this helps
