Question: Can you have a natural birth if your HSV 2 positive!? (No immature answers please)!?
I was just curious if anyone is HSV 2 positive and if they were still able to have a natural birth!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can - your doc might run a western blot first to check for antibodies to make sure that you aren't having an active infection (because you would be amazed how many people have sores in the vagina or on the cervix, and so don't know they have an active infection)
But otherwise - sure!.

Even if you don't have an outbreak it is still possible!. Although the chances are about 1 in 5,000 , there is still a risk for the babyWww@Answer-Health@Com
You could run the risk of passing it to the baby!. Most Doctor's would prevent that from happening for the sake of the baby!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
