Slight vaginal burning and discomfort?!

Question: Slight vaginal burning and discomfort!?
Hi!

I've been having slight vaginal burning and discomfort!. I was wondering if this is more leaning towards a yeast infection or bacterial infection!? Because I was thinking of trying some monistat!. It doesn't burn constantly, just more discomfort than anything!. No discharge or itching that I've noticed!. Funny thing, I just had a pap smear a week ago and now this happens when I was just there and they could have diagnosed and treated me while I was there if it had been a probelm then haha!. Anyways, if this helps I'm a virgin and at the pap smear everything was fine!. Oh, and I have also noticed a difference in smell!. Thanks for all your help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you have noticed a difference in smell, it is probably Bacterial Vaginosis!. Yeast usually doesn't smell, it itches, and there is usually a white (only white) discharge!. If you don't want to go back to your doctor, call your doctor's nurse and maybe they can call you something in, like Flagyl!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if its a fishy smell the that could be a bacterial infection!.!.but use that vagasil screening test before you use monistat!. It's about the same price of monistat and it just tests you to see if it is a yeast infection or something else more serious!.!.its usually at cvs, walgreens, walmart, any place that sells female hygiene products!.!.!.because if you use the monistat and its not a yeast infection!.!.you will be wasting money!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you arent itching, i DOUBT its a yeast infection!. yeast infection symptoms are major itching, soreness in the vagina, sometimes burning while urination and swollen labia!. there is also a smell but not an unpleasant smell, its a smell like white bread, or yeast!. maybe you should go back to the gyno!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The nurse says it is the start of a yeast infection!. My girl friend is a nurse she says try monistatWww@Answer-Health@Com

I've had these before and i really don't know what it is!. But I used vagisil or however you spell it and it went away!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

call your doctor and ask them what they think!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
