Answers:
i'd definitely change the tampon right after swimming!. i always find that the water gets inside me and causes the tampon to expand and it becomes uncomfortable!. also the tampon will be saturated in water and won't hold any blood once you get out!. (tampons expand pretty big when they're submerged in water)!.

and shower without a tampon!. there's no reason to need a tampon in the shower!. you'll be able to clean yourself better without one in!. plus the whole deal with the tampon absorbing a bunch of water!.

even though the box says you can leave a tampon in for eight hours i personally think that you should change your tampon almost every time you go to the bathroom!. it just seems more hygienic!.

OH! try to remember to take out your tampon before you get in the shower!. because it's really gross if the bloody used tampon gets wet, trust me!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely take the tampon out after swimming, or else you run the chance of it falling out because it's absorbed so much water!.

Yes, you can shower with a tampon in!.!. it won't absorb as much water as swimming!. I usually take mine out though when I shower, I don't like the thought of a wet tampon being inside of me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can leave it in, i take mine out every 4-5 hours but you can leave it for 6, it depends how heavy your period is because you don't want any leaking out!.

And you can shower with a tampon in, I have before and its fine :)

Its really just personal preference, you'll soon start finding out what works for you :)

to answer your first question, its not necessary, but you should take it out after you go swimming!. just as a precaution!.

to answer your 2nd question, it depends for how long its been in!. if you put it in for like an hour, and take a shower, then you don't have to take it out!.

my suggestion is that you should always replace it after swimming, showering, using the bathroom, etc!. tampons are great, but they are also a breeding ground for infection!. they are in a warm, dark, extremely moist area, so you need to be very careful when using them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

honestly it doesn't matter a whole lot on either count!. if you leave it in after submerging it in water you have to expect some (water) leakage for the next few hours, so its less messy to change it right after, but neither chlorine nor clean water will damage anything if it stays in for a few extra hours (note, a few, more than 6 is pushing it and you're in danger of TSS, but don't stress over it)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can leave it for as long as the box says no matter if you go swimming or not so don't worry about taking it out after you swim!. Also you can shower and take a bath with it in!. No problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

swim, shower, do whatever!. You can leave them in for 6-8 hours!. Sometimes a little more!. You can do all of the normal things you did before, just the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. take it out b/c its proly wet and gross
2!. i dont think it matters as long as you still change it after swimming!.

p!.s!. its not healthy to be swimming during your period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) take it out once you are done swimming
2)it's up to you, I would say in or have a bath instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can shower and swim and still leave in as normal :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Personal preference!. I shower with mine in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
