Spotting is sometimes a sign of pregnancy, but it usually isn't sexually induced spotting, it's more of a random spotting!.

However, there is a physiological problem, called cervical eversion, or ectropy, also coined a 'fleshy cervix'!. It's when uterine cells grow on the outside of the cervix, resulting in bleeding from any irritation!. The cause can be a variety of things, from a recent infection, to a physiological abnormality!. Essentially your uterus doesn't know where to stop growing cells!. It is nothing to worry about, and completely treatable!. Your doctor can cauterize your cervix, resulting in scar tissue and thus, no fleshy cervix!.

A fleshy cervix usually does not cause any pain during sex, just tends to put a damper on the mood!. My suggestion is to have your gynecologist take a look at your cervix, and go from there!. Hope everything works out for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honestly, It could be a number of things!. I liked Slims' response!. Get yourself over to the women's clinic and discuss it a nurse practitioner or doctor!. This way there will be no doubts to what it is!. If it's normal cool!. If it's medical you'll be able to get help for it before it gets worse!.

And for goodness sake, unless you're trying to get pregnant use protection!. It doesn't say your fooling around, it's says your being responsible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're not on birth control, and you don't use protection!? Umm, trying to get pregnant!?

How do you think babies get made!? Of course you could be pregnant!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That happened to me for a while!.!. It was the first sign of endometriosis!.!. If you have serious pelvic pain when your period starts then get it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Did you vomit or anything like that !?
if you were, then you're really pregnant!.
But if it's just spotting, theres nothing wrong with you then beacuse thats normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be a number of things!. The reason it can be a sign of pregnancy is because the cervix is more tender and soft so it's more likely to spot or bleed after intercourse!. Most people don't know that!.
Other reasons could be, abnormal cycle, cervical cancer, various STD's, an unknown miscarriage, unknown or undiagnosed vaginal infection (yeast, UTI, etc), hormonal fluctuations (natural or caused by stress, pregnancy or diet changes), low estrogen levels, injury to the vaginal interior or foreign object (like a piece of a condom, hair or tp scrap), low thyroid levels or certain medications (antibiotics and/or anticoagulants or blood thinners)!.

My best advice would be to get this checked out by an OB/GYN if it lasts for more than just a few days!. It could be simple or it could be something very serious!. But the longer you wait, the more potential there is for something small to grow into a huge problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
