What are good ways to relax ?!


Question: What are good ways to relax !?
I need to relax!.
I have been getting bad headaches and I saw a doctor yesterday and I have a lot of tension in my shoulders and back and my back is twisted!. That's what he said!. And I need to relax!. What can I do !?
I am a single mom of my 3 and a half year old daughter and I really want to feel better!. I have a lot of stressful things going and I just want to feel relaxed but just relaxing is hardWww@Answer-Health@Com

HERE I AM!!!! I have a good answer for you!.
The Bath: Draw a hot bath!.!.!. Water that is as hot as you can stand!. Put a little bubbles in it so you have something good to smell!. If you have any candles, light 'em up! Lots of them!. Especially lavender! Those are made to relax the senses!. Close the door and get in and sit and lay back and just let your body float around in the hot water until it starts to get cold!. Once it starts to cool off, then it's time to get out!. When you get out, your body will/should feel like a big blob of goo inside! Nice and relaxed! Make sure you do this when your baby is sleeping or not at home!. You can't relax when she's in there with you!.!.!.
Imagery: Get yourself a CD with nature sounds and music on it!.!.!.(They sell those at Wal Mart or K Mart or Target!.!.!. places like that) Then, lay on your bed or floor, flat on your back, with your CD in and ready to go!. And when the music starts, you start to imagine yourself in a fantasy world or on a beach relaxing or whatever you want to imagine! You can look up imagery and how to do it at the below source!. It's a GREAT way to relax!. I learned it when I was at the stress unit the million times I was there!.!.!. :)
Prayer: No matter what happens in your life, God always has a plan for you!. You can make that plan better or worse through PRAYER!! Pray, baby, PRAY!! It's another great way to relax!
Read or watch funny movies or shows on tv!.
Exercise, Yoga, and Stretching would all be good too!. Stretch out that neck and back!. That would probably feel really good! And like I said in a previous question, go to a message therapist, if you have the money!.!.!. it only costs about 55 bucks to get a massage! Really!! That's not too bad at all!. And a chiropractor would be a great step too!. He would get you straightened out in no time! They would cost only about 35 bucks a trip! Honestly, sweetheart, you would be feeling great in no time! PROMISE!

There's a lot of things you can do, just don't sit around and think bad thoughts or lay around in bed all day! Get up and get stuff accomplished! Open the curtains! Let the sunlight it, and clean the house or go outside and go for a walk!! Do yourself up all pretty first so all the guys will notice you!! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

treat yourself, yoga is a good answer, but even taking an hour a day for yourself or even 20 mins, by just winding down while your daughter takes a nap and take a relaxing bubble bath, even stretch, take big relaxing deep breaths, listen to relaxing music like enya, or read a book!. just take some time to yourself and time to escape all worry's!. Yoga is goodl, and their are yoga videos you can buy that you and your daughter can do!. Or take your daughter out for a walk with you to a park where she can play and you can just relax on a bench!. Yoga, Tai chi, chi gong, cardio, exercise, hip hop dancing, swimming, walking in nature etc!., are some activities that can help you relax!. Also there are breathing techniques in yoga called pranayama which can cure migraine headaches in two weeks!. I have taught them to a couple of people who have had migraine headaches for years and they were cured in less than 2 weeks of practise!. So try to learn them from a yoga instructor who is expert in pranayama!.

Also there is a technique called the alexander technique that involves body-awareness and certain directions that help you relax your body completely from head to toe, even when you are engaged in any activity!. Usually when we are working on computer or other activities, we lose awareness of what we do with our body and tense up our muscles!. So the Alexander technique lets you relax and work effortlessly!. So it can help you with your shoulder pain and neck pain for sure!. Learn the technique from a certified instructor!. Also if your back is in really bad shape, go to a chiropractor first and get it aligned!.

Wait until your daughter is asleep!. Buy some candles and some bubble bath take a long hot bath or get a lawn chair that folds out when you daughter plays outside lay out in the sun and relax!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get enough sleep, and light relaxation candles in every corner of your house, especially on your bedroom!. Make sure your child can't reach it!. Or!.!.!. you can go to a spa center, ask your mom to babysit your child!.!.!. really, you need rest!. stress could attract heart attack!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
