Told my teacher, period, help! ?!

Question: Told my teacher, period, help! !?
i had my period for the first time today(as you may know already)!.
it was really heavy and i had one pad from my friend but it was a light one that only lasted like a half hour!.

i needed to change!. bad!. it was really bad and i knew i was going to leak!. i asked my teacher as soon as i got into class to go to the bathroom and she told me to wait until the end of class which is 2 HOURS! I ran out of the class room to the bathroom and bought a new pad from the machine (i didnt know it existed)

when i came back she yelled at me (shes like 60!.) at the end of class i told her i had my period!. and she didnt care!. is this rude of me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
that is not rude of you, that was rude of her!. all teachers should let a young female out for a bathroom break when they ask!. for one it could be very harmful to hold your urine for 2 hours and for two, a young female needs to change a pad/tampon atleast every 1 - 2 hours when first getting a period!. she should have known better and if it happens again report her to either your mom or a principle/guidance cousilor!.!.!. she could get into trouble for this!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No good for you for running out!. I was so shy in school I would have just sat down and probably bled off the pad!. Don't back down!. It wasn't rude!. Its not like you wanted to announce to the class why you needed to go to the bathroom!. Teachers in middle school and high school are usually told to be more lenient with bathroom privileges for girls for that exact reason so its her mistake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

bullshitt!. If I knew I was going to leak or be sick I would leave regardless of what the teacher says!. If they want to make a big deal over it I have no problem telling administration what the problem was!. You did the right thing!. You took care of yourself!. That teachers so dried up I doubt she even remembers what a period is like!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No way! Not rude at all!. In fact, I think it is good you told her!. There's nothing to be ashamed about!. Periods are a natural part of life!. Im sure she understands why you had to leave the classroom immediately!. No big deal!. And congrats! You're a woman now! lol :PWww@Answer-Health@Com

It was probably best you ran out of class!. I think the teacher is at fault, what kind of female teacher wouldn't care about that!? She must be one mean lady!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if i was you i would go to the office and tell on her!. she knows that girls have emergencies like that!. she should of known better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no that's not rude at all, i personally would of done the same thing!. just ignore her and if she takes it farther to like your mom or something your mom will completely understand so DON'T WORRY!! :)

hope i helped :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it's not!. You have to do what you have to do!. I would've done the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no u should of told the ***** it was going to go all over if u didnt change right away f that broad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not if its an emergency!. You have to worry about yourself!. Nobody else (your teacher) will worry for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
