Even though you got your period at 9, your body is probably still developing and going all haywire!.
I got mine at 12 and I still couldn't keep track of it when I was 17 when I went onto BC!.
Another possibility is that you are stressed or underweight!. Are either of these things possible!?
If you go to the doctor they might not necessarily check your privates, they will talk to you first and may come up with an answer!.
Go to a lady doctor if it helps!. She might want to do an examination, and there is nothing to worry about!. It is a little scary the first time, but the doctor sees these things everyday!.
I suggest wearing a skirt or dress, that way you'll only need to take your knickers off and you won't feel so exposed!.
I do think you should see a doctor though, it's probably okay, but you need to be sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to tell your mom
Im 15 and the white mucus stuff you get might be a yeast infection
The only way to know is id you go to the doctor i dont think they have to check your private jst a pee sampleWww@Answer-Health@Com

So Ill tell you from my experience 3 years ago when I was 15!. I lost my period because of not eating enough!. I didnt have it for a year!. Well my mom somehow noticed that something was wrong and forced me to a doctor!. The doc said she knows the problem without me getting up on that monster chair!. She said its because of not enough body fat( I thought for a moment - are you kidding me lady!? Im like fat, how can it be!!! I was 45kg then :)) Well, long story short, the doc said there is no way the period is gonna come back itself because the ovaries had shrunken and loosing weight isnt the only way it can happen!. So she put me on hormone therapy and it came back in about 10 days, but had to be stabilized for some months!.
So you really should go to a doctor!. And please dont take birth control on your own it just screws up the hormones and gets worse!.
Hope you get betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

There is quite a bit of variation in how long it takes for a girl to establish the regular menstrual cycle that most women experience in adulthood!. And even after the menstrual cycle matures and becomes regular, this "regularity" may differ greatly from woman to woman!. This irregularity can give you a concern because you feel there is something wrong going on!.

So, some understanding about the normal variations that occur in early adolescence and young adulthood can help ease some of the anxiety!.

The cycles in the early years after menstruation has begun typically are a few days longer than in adults!. In addition, the lengths of time for irregularity may commonly be longer in these first couple of years!.

During the first two years after a girl begins having periods, up to 50% of the cycles occur without ovulation!. By about 5 years after the onset of menses, 80% of the cycles have ovulation occurring within them!. Without ovulation, the timing of menstrual cycles is not too predictable which is why periods are so variable during the first two years after they have begun!.

There are other reasons why a girl could go for an extended period of time without a period!. However, you can see that it is quite normal for a girl to have somewhat irregular periods during the first two years of menses!. Barring concern for pregnancy or other health problems that could be a factor in not menstruating, many doctors wait until two periods have been missed before doing any significant evaluation for causes!.

The discharge you are experiencing is normal!. The color and thickness of the discharge change with your monthly cycle!. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate (when one of your ovaries releases an egg), when a woman is breastfeeding or when a woman is sexually excited!.

The most common causes for missed periods in teenagers are pregnancy, stress, and a condition called polycystic ovaries!. I would suggest that you talk to your Mum about this and have her call your doctor to discuss this matter in order that he/she may decide whether or not it is necessary to make an appointment!.

Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
