2!. can u pee with a tampon!?

3!. Would u recommend tampons to a 7th grader!?

4!. are tampons dangerous!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
1!. YES, but i would recommend a panty liner, they are thinner and more comfortable!.

2!. YES, its perfectly fine, but if i were you i would hold the string back to prevent having to change the tampon with a dirty string later!.

3!. YES, i started using tampons in 7th grade, i am now a sophomore, age 16!.

4!. They can be, if you leave them in too long or put them in the wrong way there is a chance of TSS, which is toxic shock syndrome, its VERYYYY rare though, look at the box, it will tell you all about it!.

5!. My favorite are the Playtex Sport!. The applicator makes it go in easier and more gentle, and they work WONDERS!

hope this helped =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Yes, and it is something I recommend if you're nervous about tampons leaking!.
2!. Yes, as the tampon is inserted into the vagina, and you urinate out of your urethra, right next to it!.
3!. I would recommend tampons to anyone who is willing to try them!. Just don't be afraid and relax!.
4!. Tampons have been linked to TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome), a potentially fatal disease!. You can prevent this by using the lowest absorbency useable (lites should work) and remove them after 4-6 hours!. For the most part, you should be fine, as this has happened to only a small percentage of girls who've used tampons!.
5!. I highly recommend using Tampax pearl lites (unscented) if it's your first time!.

Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Yes, you can, though I would suggest something thinner such as a panty liner if you want that extra protection!. I only really do such things on really heavy days though!.

2!. Yeah, there's nothing stopping you from going pee with a tampon!.

3!. It's really a matter of personal choice rather than age whether or not you use a pad or a tampon!. I was using tampons from the get go, but for a seventh grader, I'd suggest using the slimmest one out there with a panty liner just in case until she gets comfortable!.

4!. They can be if you leave them in for too long, or so I am told!. They're relatively easy to remove, and even if you accidentally put one in while another is in (which does not happen often, I was half asleep at the time) it's easy to get them both out!. Just be sure to change frequently, I believe every six hours!.

5!. I'd suggest a tampon, really, especially if you're new to your period!. You don't have to change them as often, and they're easier to carry around than a pad, much smaller!. You can just hide them in a pencil case or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. yes, especially good if you have a very heavy flow!.

2!. yes

3!. I recommend a slim one with an applicator!.!.!.and that she take the time to relax and practice and don't get frustrated if it takes you a couple times to get it right!.

4!. Not if you change them often enough--several times during the day (good idea to change everytime you use the restroom)!. It's ok to wear one overnight but change it when you get up in the morning!. Also, remember to remove the last one you use at the end of your period!.

Some years back there was a scare about toxic shock syndrome and tampons!. The kind of tampon that was involved was pulled from the market!. Tampons have directions in the box that tells you about precautions--read them!.

All in all, I think once a person gets used to them, everything will be just fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Yes, you can use a pad and a tampon at the same time :) it's actually a good idea incase the tampon leaks :)

2!. Yes you can pee with a tampon in, just hold the string to the side so that you don't pee on it :) It's not the same hole, so it's fine :)

3!. I think any age can use tampons if pads are too uncomfortable for them!. Definently talk to your mum or someone, just to make sure it's okay :) They are far more comfortable then pads, and I started them on my 3rd period!.

4!. Tampons can be dangerous, as there is a risk of TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome)!. To make sure that it's not dangerous for you, make sure your hands are clean before touching the tampon, don't leave it out in the air without a cover for too long and don't leave it in for longer then 4-5hours (just to be on the safe side)!.

5!. Definently use the smallest tampons you can (slim/light flow)!.

Goodluck :)
