i know male is cutting off the balls but whats female!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
hi stephanie; first, you are incorrect about the males!.
their vasectomy consists of a simple operation, wherein their sperm tubes are cut and then retied inside the balls; and therefore they cannot get females pregnant!. regarding females; their operation is called a tubal ligation, wherein their tubes are cut and then tied; and therefore they cannot become pregnant!. some women also have to eventually have a hysterectomy, which is a major operation, and which should be done only when totally necessary!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first of all, they don't cut off the balls in the male, they cut and tie the vas deferens or 'tube' that transfers the sperm from the testicles, more accurately the epididymis, to various glands which add semen to the sperm, and ultimately to the penis which transfers it into the female!. by doing this the sperm cannot mix with the semen and therefore whatever he ejaculates does not have any sperm in it (therefore unable to fertilise the egg)!.

in the female vasectomy, which is called tubal ligation, they tie the fallopian tubes which carry the unfertilised egg from the ovary to the uterus at ovulation, when after unprotected sex, it may become fertilised in the fallopian tube by the sperm from the male!. so basically by cutting and tying the fallopian tubes, the egg cannot become fertilised, and you cannot become pregnant!.

both are extremely effective as a barrier against pregnancy, however they only have around a 50%-70% successful reversal rate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tubual ligation, or "having your tubes tied!." Basically, the fallopian tubes are "cut and tied" so sperm can't go through and fertilize the eggs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The vasectomy is cutting of the tubes and tying them up in both the gender!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Female vasectomy is when they tie your fallopian tubes together to stop fertilization!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
