Question: How do i approach my doc with a request for essure!?
i am 29, one child who is 13, married twice!. dont want anymore kids!. never did or will!. married to a man who shares my life goals!. should i take my hubby with me!? how do i convince the doc!? my hubby cant get "snipped" because he has his own medical issues down there!. besides its my choice anyway i wouldnt ask my hubby to do that!. and i'm having trouble with birth control so dont want that anymore!. iuds are not an option either!. help please!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You sound like a level-headed and well-informed woman!. It's clear that you've given this very serious thought!. You are also involved in a stable relationship and are clearly on the path you've chosen, with regard to a family and children!. You don't strike me as wishy-washy, so to speak!. :)
If you were my patient, I'd want you to walk into my office and tell me that you'd like to talk about Essure and/or other forms of permanent birth control!. Any doctor worth having should be willing to have a serious discussion on any health matter of concern to his or her patient!. :)
