42C or 32D bra sizes?!
Question: 42C or 32D bra sizes!?
I need to go up in bra size!. I use to be a size 38C!. do i go to 42C or a 32D!?
(i havnt seen many 42C's but i have seen some, my grandma was telling me that i go to D, but why wouldnt i go to C!?)

but here's how it basically works:
the number is how big your chest (not your boobs) is!.!.!. so someone who was really skinny might be a 30B, and someone with the same size boobs but bigger ribs might be a 34B!.
the letter is how big your actual breasts are!. so two people with different size breasts but the same size everywhere else could be 34A and 34C!.
If you've gained weight, then go to 40C or 42C!.
If your boobs have grown, then go to 38D - NOT 32D!.
be sure to measure yourself too, though!. with all your confusion, you were probably in the wrong size bra before you grew ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here is the way to measure for a bra size!. Take a tape measure and go under the arms and around the back to the chest, comfortable, and write down that number, lets say 34"!. Then take the tape measure and go around the back at the fullest part of the breast, lets say 37" and write that down!. Now you subtract the first number from the second, or three inches!. For each inch difference, you add one cup size, so this person would wear a 34C; thirty-four for the size and up three sizes (a,b,c) for the three inches or a C!.

If you are a 38 now, and that is still the same, then you need to go up a cup size, to a 38D maybe!. If you are bigger around, then maybe you just need to go up in the size around, and maybe you can keep the cup size (because it will go up with it) or even a cup size smaller!. Look at a website like victoriassecret!.com for a sizing chart!. Also, see what fits!. You should fit in it nicely, not bulging out any sides, try it with a tshirt to see how it looks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the number like 38 or 42 measures the width around your waist!. The letter C or D is the cup size!. So naturally you would go up to a D if you have grown a cup size, but you would go up to a 42C if you have gone up in width around your waist (or gained weight)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

And I would suggest trying on the two diff sizes and then decide!. Because a lot of it depends on whether you want a bigger band or a bigger cup!.

No kidding, just go and try it!. You are never going to be the same size for every single bra!. Different makers make different sizing scales!. I am a 38C and it varies from bra I choose!. Never buy a bra without even trying it on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Go to a 34 D!. I was a 38 C and gained weight so I went to a 34 D which is the same band size as a 38 C but the cup is just a bit bigger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would go into a 32D!. if it is the width then just go to a 42 C, but if it is the plumpness then a DWww@Answer-Health@Com
