Question: Help! I've Irritated My Stomach With Aspirins!!?
I took a lot of aspirin for about 3 weeks!. I was exercising and having awful sinus headaches!. My stomach started burning badly 2 weeks ago!. I stopped taking the aspirin!. I bought some buttermilk to drink!. Hoping that would coat my stomach!. I also stopped consuming food and drinks with acid in it!. I had bad dirreah for about 3 days!. Then it stopped!. I started taking Prilosec last friday!. I have a constant burning in my stomach!. I have a history of having gastritis!. I haven't had it since June of 2008!. I ate some chicken and honey mustard saturday night!. I waited about 4 hours after the Prilosec to eat it!. I threw it up 3 hours later!. My stomach is burning now and all I had was a buttered biscuit and soft scrambled eggs for breakfast!. I took two teaspoons of Mylanta an hour before breakfast!. I woke up with a horrible burning in my stomach!. What can I do to make my stomach better!? This has been going on about a month now!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hon, you need to see a gastroenterologist!. Your stomach is totally messed up!. It sounds like you may actually have GERD, but only a qualified medical professional can tell for sure!. You cannot leave this condition without proper treatment because it can eat away at your esophagus and actually cause cancer to develop!. Please see your doctor as soon as you can!. i would definatly talk to your doctor about this!.!. perhaps the prilosec is making it worse!? perhaps you cannot take that medicine or you have an ulcer!. I wouldnt turn to us!. we will all say go see a doctor because that DOES NOT sound normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
