your dont really feel it coming out!. you just feel it on ur pad until it soaks trought!.
I get really heavy periods ->heavy enough that i have heavy overnight pads every 3-4 hours!. You can tell when its time to change when you feel wet,but if its really wet you might have soaked through!.
Its uncomfortable especially cramps but hey if you ever want kids its something you have to go through!.
No you can't control it!.
Birth control can help regulate periods but thats about it

I suffered from extremely heavy periods in my teens and after I stopped breastfeeding my kids!. Yes you CAN feel it if it is really heavy!. I was unable to use tampons because I bled so heavily they were useless!. I actually went to the hospital twice after having my kids because I felt lightheaded during them!. I went to doctors and they told me that I had no physical problem with my uterus, and I couldn't take oral birth control because of allergies to them!. I started taking the Depo shot and they did begin to lighten up!.
As far as what it feels like, EWWWWW! It felt, to me, like sitting on a peach!. Warm, wet, and thick!. If you have this problem, I suggest talking to your doctor, birth control helped me!.!.!.

When your period is heavy, no you cannot feel it coming out, just the side affects of PMS are all you can feel!. (cramps, sore breasts, ect!.)
As far as contorling it goes, you really can't!. Try using some super tampons, those work very well while your period is heavy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when my period is heavy, i feel kinda!.!. gross and bloated!.
i can usually feel it coming out!. haha!. but thats why you use tampons!.
the only time you really remember you're on your period is if you have horrible cramps or you can feel it leaking out!. lol!.

well when i have my period i hate it so much!
it's cause when i get up at school i feel like i have it on my butt all the time when i don't!Yes sometimes you can feel it coming out and it just feels nasty!.I exercise to make my period lighter, it really helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honestly periods suck! But no hun u can't control it!. For me I know when I need to change my tampon/pad but u can't feel it coming out!. It doesn't really feel like much unless you are one of the unlucky who get cramps : ( cross your fingers! But don't worry mine aren't horrible and only last 4 days for meWww@Answer-Health@Com
yeah sometimes u can feel it coming out!.!.!.it feels weird like a glob or something warm and wet!.!. eww i hate it, its gross!.!.but its normal and most of the time u can't fell it anyway
