okay this is a bit embarrassing but my vagina has been itching like crazy but then after it is done itching it burns like crazy and makes me wanna cry! it has red all around and bumps by the vagina area and rectum!. could it just be from shaving or something else!? should i go to the doctor or not!? help me please im scared and i do shave down there so it could be that i do not know though! what can make it better fast! and its been like this for about 2 or 3 weeks and feels worse!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like a bad yeast infection, which can be irritated by shaving!. Stop shaving and buy some Monistat!. There are types of products made by Monistat that come with a cream for the outside of the vagina while you treat the yeast infection internally!. Basically, two creams!. My Gynecologist told me it's better not to shave because that can mess with the good bacteria in your vagina!. The hair there grows there for many reasons! Buy some Monistat and if you aren't feeling better in 3-4 days, you need to see your doctor!. Also, try to stay away from thong underwear and wear cotton panties, with a COTTON crotch, for a few weeks!. Don't sit in water (bathtub, jacuzzi, swimming pool, etc!.) and try to drink plenty of water!. Best of luck!. I know how miserable that is! And give the shaving a rest for awhile!. it could be the shaving, try some hydrocortosone cream, if it soothes then watch it for a couple of days, if the bumps are pusey and it really smells then see a doctor, if the itching in mostly on the outside it might just be a minor abrasion caused by the shaving and u scratching at it, if the itching is more on the inside it could by vaginitis od candiditis (which are basically yeast infection) all in all stop itching and bathe the are with warm antiseptic water!.!.!.but YOU NEED to visit your doctor as a woman we have too many things that can go wrong to be playing guessing games with ourselvesWww@Answer-Health@Com
i had a yeast infection back in oct but it waas nothin like this, but then again everyone is different, and u problably are in a more advanced stage of it, i noticed my infection the day it appeared 2 me!.
but i will say, go 2 da clinic and get tested to be sure of wat it is, dats wat i did

Hmmmm as for the white discharge that is totally normal!. =P But as for the rest!.!.!.!.!.The whole itching thing happens to me to and I would not worry about it!.
