Question about refill of birth control pills from Planned Parenthood?!

Question: Question about refill of birth control pills from Planned Parenthood!?
I got birth control for the first time in November, and I'm almost done with my packs so I need to get a refill!. Do I need to make an appointment, or can I just drop by and get new packs without having to talk to a nurse and such!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It depends if you got the entire perscription in November!. Usually you just go in show your ID and they give you your perscription!. If they only wrote you a 3 month ( which would be odd ) then you need to see a doctor!. Just go in, and try to get it!. They should push you to the front of the line if you need to get a new script!.;!. it will only take a few min to talk to doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that you can just stop by to get a refill!. You only need one pap smear a year if everything was normal before!. And thats what they go on with initially getting BC!. Call the office first!.

There are usually no "nurses" at Planned Parenthood!. Just, medical assistants (big difference in education and experience)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

!.I was a volunteer at PP so i think it is the same at all locations!.
New patients need to get an exam!. but if you have a Rx from another place you can probably use the PP pharmacy as long as you take in the paperwork to see if you financially qualify!. pills are $10!.00
an exam is only $30-40!.00
might be a good idea to pay the yearly 40 bucks and save money in the long run with the cheaper pill prices!.
call them and see, they will be as reasonable as possible!.
best of luck
Hey I noticed someone told you to avoid the pill!.!.!.not true
while condoms make the most effective STD barrier if you arent in a marriage!. pill!.s for a young halthy woman are fine!. They reduce cramps and regulate the cycle which when stopped will promote your ability to get pregnant!. I took them for 15yrs from 20yrs of age to 35yrs!. I have quadruplets and they were natural NO Drugs!. Also there ARE professionals at PP!. it is against the law to give any medical procedure w/o a medical lic!. so there are nurses and OB GYN's !. people forget PP also provides prenatal care!. Plus you get pap smears there!.!.!.not just anyone can do that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you have to make an appointment so the nurse can see how you're doing on the pill!.!.!. They'll wanna know if anything has changed, how you feel and what not!. But you should call planned parenthood and find out to make sure because it would suck to be without pills for a month or so!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't take birth control!. Use condoms!. It messes up your hormones and many woman aren't able to have babies later on because of it!. Not worth it if you want to have a family someday!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can just drop in and fill out a quick form!. Unless you want to change your form of birth control- you don't need to make an appointment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call and ask since every place is different!. Usually for a new script you have to see the doctor and at least talk to him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

usually they give you 3 refiuls then you must see a doc for a refill!. Pharmacy wont give it on there own without RxWww@Answer-Health@Com
