Question: Does lots of exercise stop your period even if its just walking!?
16 almost 17, periods been regular for about 2 years now, but recently (in the past three months) ive been walking about 2-3 hours a day, at a fairly fast pace, and havent had my period in two months!. im not underweight, and have enough body fat and am fairly toned but can this much walking alone cause a stop in periods!? im not eating a lot but im not underweight, though i have lost a little bit of weight

Sometimes your body will do odd things like that, and stop your period!. The same thing happened to me once I started work in a restaurant, but that was because of stress!. In order for your period to completely stop due to weight, you have to be really underweight!. Either way, I would talk to your gyno about it, or if you don't have one, head down to the local Planned Parenthood!. A missed period could mean many things, and these people, unlike me, are medical professionals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
very very hard exercise can delay period or makes it stop , I dont think walking stop period , its better u see ur doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
