Question: Question about stopping birth control!?
I want to stop taking birth control pills, but I'm a bit worried about any side effects I might have!. I just wanted to know if anyone experienced any when they quit the pill so I can be prepared!.
I'm not stopping them because I want to get pregnant, I'm just not sexually active anymore and don't plan on being for a while!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I stopped using the Patch, I had pretty wicked mood swings, my complexion got bad again, and I just didn't feel good!. I feel the effects of normal hormonal cycles (i!.e!. PMS and ovulation) a lot more acutely!. I'm thinking about starting it again because now my cramps are much worse than they were and going for 4 years without cramps beats being natural!.
HOWEVER,
I do not have the daily headaches I used to have and the ones I do get are not as severe as they used to be!. I have less heart palpitations and less anxiety!. I also have a higher sex drive and find climaxing more easy to achieve (which, is obviously the opposite of what you're looking to feel once you get off hormonal contraception)!. So, stopping has its pros and cons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some women don't get periods for a while after stopping and when they do, they are irregular!. In a few months you should be back to normal!. Other than that, really no side effects that I know of!.
