I'm 14 and i am glad to tell you because unfortunately at your age, i had no idea what a period was, until i got mine at school,
so heres what happens at the beginning!. You feel very wet and get tons of discharge, then the Really Bad stomach aches appear, you'll probably start crawling on your bed and hugging yourself and feeling terrible, that's one of the down sides to having a period!. When you start your period it can last up to 3-7 days, and sometimes you'll just miss it, that can happen for up to 3 months, so dont all of a sudden think your pregnant because lots of girls do, thats our only explanation for missing!. You'll also start to get mood swings even when you dont know it!. Dont worry about the sight of blood because the truth is that its basically %90 water and %10 blood!. If the discharge bothers you, i suggest that you put toilet paper in your underwear unless you want everyone to find out!. Talk to your mother about getting your period and how she felt when she got hers, i think that will help the most!. Getting your period isnt a curse, its a miracle, it means that oneday you can have your own children!. But as i said before, talk to your mother and she'll buy you what you need to prevent accidents, especially at school
dont worry, soon you'll be a pro at this
Good Luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't they show those movies in school anymore that explain periods to young girls!? Don't any mothers talk to their kids anymore either!?
The blood that makes up your period comes out of your uterus!. It is the sloughing off of the uterine lining that accumulates to support an embryo when you get pregnant!. No embryo and it sloughs to cause your period!. If you're pregnant, the embryo is implanted in that uterine lining and it stays for nine months and no period!.
It feels different for everyone!. Some have cramping and maybe some pressure down below, some don't!.

it feels like a really bad stomach ache before you get your period; those are the cramps!. also you get really moody or more emotional than usual!. to start off at your age you should buy pads and ask a older sister or mom how to put them on once you get it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't really feel anything when you start!. Just some cramps and stomach ache, but it doesn't hurt like you would when you get a cut!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The blood is from your uterus, which exits through the vagina!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The blood exits through the vagina!. Basically on the direct bottom of your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
