I became sexually active right before I turned 17!. I am about to turn 20 in may and I have never had a pap smear!. i have one scheduled for June but I am really nervous that I have pre cancer or even cancer!.I fear that I am going way too late!.
Whats the longest you've gone without a pap smear!? What are the chances that I have something real bad!?

Hi!. I am your age, have had 1 sex parntner and have not had an exam yet!. I am going late April-scared to death!!! Just call and schedule one!. I had the cancer fear too so that is why I called and made an appointment-i figured 10 minutes of my crotch completely exposed to a DR is not as bad as having cancer and dying at 20!. If you have been practicing safe sex or know your partners are healthy, you've probably nothing to worry about!. Most people don't get cervical cancer so don't freak out about it!. Plus, many cancers take a long time to develop therefore there is lots of time to find it out!.

i am 24 and haven't had one!. i have been married for 2 years (thats when i came sexually active)!. i haven't went to the doctor because we don't have health insurance!. if you haven't had any symptoms or problems with anything, you don't need to worry about cancer!. just make sure you always have protected sex!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it is not bad for you to not have pap smears, it is just a good precaution to take!. it is better late than never, so try to see a doctor as soon as possible!. as long as you haven't had anything that you feel isn't normal, you probably don't have anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
