Why are my nails chipping?!

Question: Why are my nails chipping!?
For the past couple of weeks I have been noticing that my finger nails are coming apart!. Like they are chipping and the top layer is peeling off!. I asked a couple of people and they said it's because lack of calcium or something like that!. Does anybody know why this is happening!? I exercise a lot and keep my calorie intake to around 1200!. I'm am 5'6 and weigh 115!. Does my weight or anything have to do with anything like that or what!? Thanks!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

this happends to me, this means we have thin nails!.
To Provent them from chipping and to make them thicker and grow them longer!.!.
you need to file your nails everyday thats how you can stop them from chipping!.!. and you can make them grow longer too ! :D
to get them thicker you should paint your nails and the best way to keep the paint from chippping and comeing off!.!.
put a base coat (clear) let that dry completley then paint your nails what every colour you want / need!.!. and then add a top coat (clear) it should stay on for 1-2 weeks / 3 weeks tops !
but!.!. if you play sports like me it would stay on for a week :(
