Question: Is it true that working around women can cause your period to delay!?
i work around all women and since i started this job a year ago my period has been off key!. it finally got back on a normal schedule and now it is 6 days late with two negative pregnancy tests!. two other girls there were saying about 3 months ago theirs were a month late due to a new girl that they hired then when that girl quit it went back to normal!. is this true!? could this be my problem!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As odd as it sounds yes!. When women live, work, or are around each other a lot their cycles will tend to become in sync with one another!. And there is even a name for it:

It's not that your period will necessarily delay but when you work around women, your periods will synchronize!. It's been tested and proven that if you live with women or work with women that your periods will synchronize!. I don't know about such a large delay between the other girls, but there's more factors to a late period!. Stress, eating habits just to name a few!. I would talk to your doctor, but if you work around a lot of women and the turn around of employeees at your job is high, it might be effecting your period in a small way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sometimes if women spend a lot of time around each other their periods will sync up, i!.e!. they will be menstruating at the same time!. However that takes time to happen so I can't imagine that one new person being introduced could cause such a disturbance!. If your pregnancy tests are negative I wouldn't worry about it, there are many reasons your period could be late!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know in one of jobs, practically all the women were on at the same time, give or take a few days!
(7 of us even got pregnant after sitting in a particular seat in the lab lol, but thats another story!.)
