Question: Vaginal bleeding everyday!! help plz!?
My girl friend is currently having a problem with vaginal bleeding everyday!! period everyday, I've tryed asking her to go to the doctor but she's scared to go :(, i can't force her becuase she currently overseas!!
basically me and her slept together january unprotected sex & she decided to take some morning after tablets, i'm unsure of the brand!. Basically now for the last 2-3 months she has been bleeding everyday( once of twice), heavy & light!. I was wandering could this be somthing major!? i'm not a girl myself & have no experince in this field, so any help would be greatly appriciated!.

Well, those pills have side effects for some women!. They can mess up a women's cycle and cause her to miss her period, or get it longer and bleed more!. Im sure there's nothing to worry about!. Im sure she's just bleeding alot because of those pills she took!. Tell her to go to the doctor anyway, just to get checked out, but Im sure she's fine, tell her not to worry!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't know what this could be, but it certainly isn't normal!. She needs to see a doctor!. I know it's scary, but ignoring the problem isn't going to make it go away!. All she's doing is delaying her recovery!. It could be something as simple as taking the pill to regulate her hormones, or it could be very serious!.

I searched the internet at a variety of sites!. I'm going to assume what she took was called: Ovrette, which has about 20 pills for the 1st dose and 20 for the second dose!. It is common for a woman to experience some irregular bleeding for a few weeks or until she has her normal period!. However, bleeding for 2-3 months is not a normal side effect!. She is at risk for becoming anemic, if she isn't already!. The only type of contraception where bleeding for up to 3 months is common is the depro-provera shot!. However, this usually stops after the second shot!.
She should get check as soon as she can to ensure that she does not have an ectopic pregnancy (which is common when taking emergency contraception)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
