Can you refuse to get weighed at a regular Doctors appointment?!

Question: Can you refuse to get weighed at a regular Doctors appointment!?
Answers:
Its not as if they can force you to, visiting the doctor is voluntary!. But getting a precise weight can be important for diagnosis and keeping records!. Refusing to be weighed may also cause problems if the appointment is a required Physical Exam by a school or job - you can still refuse, just might screw those things up!.

I'm a bit curious as to why you don't want to be weighed though!. If you could share that, maybe I could help you a bit more!.

Edit: Glad to hear you're getting help, I wish you good luck with that!.

Your doctor should be told if not already aware of your anorexia!. When you're to be weighed, just explain to the nurse or doctor your situation!. They'll understand and shouldn't press any further!.

You should talk to your therapist about this too!. I'm sure he or she could help you feel more comfortable, by contacting the doctor beforehand or something alike!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No because your doctors need to know about your body and if you are gaining weight or if you are losing weight!. The only way that you can tell is if you get weighted! It's only a doctor!.!.!. its not like it is your best friend!. They could really careless about what your weight was unless you are really fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your of adult age you can refuse anything from or what they do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
