Question: Hav anyone gone thru IUI!? Hwz the results!?
My doctor suggested for IUI!. Is it really painfull treatment!? How usefull it is!? anyone got pregnant thru IUI!? will it give some side effects!? Plz let me know!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The IUI itself isn't terrible!.
To guarantee that you are going to ovulate, an IUI is often coupled with an ovulation stimulator (like clomid) coupled with a trigger shot once the eggs look appropriately sized!. The side effects from the Clomid and the trigger shot were worse than the actual IUI!.
Of course the male needs to provide a 'sample' that is usually done at the same place the IUI is happening!. For some couples this is awkward, as the male is usually asked to provide that sample on his own!.
You don't tell us why he is suggesting IUI - and that can make a difference!. Is it a low count/motility issue from him or some other problem!?
If you are getting to the IUI point, you have already had some testing done and you've already had difficulty getting pregnant (so sorry about that - infertility is a lot tougher than people realize)!.
