Unprotected Sex in the first week of BC pills?!

Question: Unprotected Sex in the first week of BC pills!?
I was on the pill for awhile, but then got off for a couple of months!. I recently restarted last Sunday, and have had unprotected sex on Thursday and Friday!. My boyfriend did not ejaculate inside me, and I know about pre-c u m!. My periods were relatively regular between the pill, so I knew when I was ovulating!. I started the pill the Sunday after my period, and I know that a back up method of contraception is recommended in the first week!.

I would have taken plan B, but I have taken it a few times before and was advised by my doctor that it may become ineffective if used more than 5 times!. I have taken the pill correctly every night, but just have some concerns as to what my options are right now!. I have checked a few sources, and the odds of pregnancy seem low but definitely possible!. Any advice would really be helpful!. I don't want to use plan B unless it is a last resort!.

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you had started the Pill on day one of your period then contraceptive cover would have been immediate and you would not have needed back up contraception!. If you start the Pill at any other time during your cycle, you must take the Pill for a full 7 days before you have contraceptive cover!.

As you started the Pill at another time during your cycle and did not use a back up method of contraception, you essentially had unprotected sex!. Sperm can survive in the body for up to 7 days!. Your only realistic option now is to take a pregnancy test!.

If you had bothered to read the leaflet that comes with the Pill it quite clearly states that you should start the Pill on day of your period!.

Edit
You said that you last had sex Thursday and Friday, so that's today!? You can still get plan B!. You can take it up to 72 hours after unprotected sex!. It is more effective the sooner you take it, so go get it now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
