Question: I have a question about ovary cyst!?
When i was 13 i was told that i had a cyst on my ovary she said that it was very small and nothing to worry about!.Then about 2 years ago i had really bad pain in my left side and then i had to go to a gynecologist because the hospital said that and then i went there they did a ultra sound and said i had a cyst and that it would dissolve now a couple days ago i remember that they wear in the same spot i am going to talk to my dr about it!. But do they really dissolve is my questionWww@Answer-Health@Com

Some females are just prone to getting cysts on their ovaries!. I too have had them!. Mine started at the age of 19!. They're not fun, and can cause an awful lot of pain!. Usually they go away on their own!. Whether it's that they shrink to nothing or just get absorbed by the body, I'm not exactly sure but often they will go away without any treatment!. It's possible your doc might put you on birth control pills just to quiet down your ovaries!. With birth control pills it tricks your body into believing you're pregnant and so the ovaries don't work to produce a mature egg to get fertilized!. Doctors want to watch the cysts just to make sure they do go away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the result of the ultrasound is normal then it is normal!.!.!. if your doctor told you that it is dissolved, then it is really dissolved!.!. If you are not confident, try asking for second opinion!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
