It's possible, yes. Many girls hymens are not intact by the time they have sex for the first time.

@No! Tampons don't, as a rule, break the hymen. There is an opening in the hymen and that is how you are able to wear a tampon and still remain a virgin. Some people have thicker hymans and some have thinner ones. Maybe yours broke easily when you had sex so you didn't see any difference. If you bled, even a little, the first time you and your husband had sex (and you say you were a virgin before then), then that would have been your hymen breaking.

so what? It's an anatomical detail. A virgin is someone who has never had sex.

It can be very common to break the Hymen with anything that is put up there and yes a tampon can do it.
