Could I have cancer or be pregnant?!

Question: Could I have cancer or be pregnant?
I don't know whats going on with my body. I have been having different things going on with my body I'm 18 and sexually active. I though that I was pregnant but I took the home pregnancy test and they came back negative. I took it a month ago and yesterday. Im cramping, my back hurts, I have to pee all the time, Im bloated, tired, it hurts when I have sex, my period was later and lighter then usual, and have headaches. My boy friends doesn't know Im worried and told me last night that my nipples look bigger and darker and my breasts are firmer. They aren't sore but I have gotten used to pain it them because I have the lucky genes of bigger breasts then others. I went to the doctor today but he doesn't know that I am sexually active because instead of talking to me they waited till I left the room to ask my guardian if I am sexually active (My guardian doesn't know Im sexually active) so they think that I might have ovarian cancer but I dint know what to think.

Answers:

Excuse me for saying this: your doctor is a quack doctor!

You are 18 years old, you do not need to have the permission of your guardian
to see the doctor.

That doctor, knowing that you are 18 years old, must had have said to
your guardian: " Would you please leave, I want to talk to Mary alone. "

You must see the doctor alone.

You are 18 for heaven's sake you are not under age !

Find a Gynecologist. and don't worry, you probably are having
hormones dysfunction of some sort.

When you go to se the doctor, remember go alone. If someone
accompany you, they should wait outside while you are in the
examining room.

Try to find a woman Dr in Ginecology, tell exactly how everything is,
what is going on, do not hide anything, the Dr will keep confidence.

The Dr will find out what tests you are to have, will examine
you, and will find out the reason of your problems.

In the mean time, do not worry about any diagnostic that does not
come from a reliable source. Everything will be clarified and
you just use protection when having sex ( so should your boyfriend)

Take another pregnancy test. Your symptoms don't sound like ovarian cancer and in any case is extremely rare at your age and would be going on longer. More likely, you might have an ovarian cyst, which is very common and rarely dangerous. That's really weird that they asked your guardian about your sexual activity!

If you had sexual intercourse with someone, then you are more than likely pregnant.
Cancer in teens and young people is rare, and you have most signs of pregnancy.
I wouldnt trust the home pregnancy tests, my sister tried 4 pregnancy tests, and they all came back negative, then 2 weeks later she went to the doctors, and found out she was actually pregnant.
So i advise you go to the doctors that way you will know for sure.
And dont worry about telling the doctor or your guardian for that matter that you are sexually active you are by rights legally an adult at 18, (well here in the UK you are classed as an adult)
I doubt very much that its cancer, so try not to stress yourself out, :)xx
