ok just for the record im not emo but i was reading on the internet about how emo people use rubber bands to stop cuttin y do they do this..... well do they so this?

I would guess they snap themselves with a rubber band whenever they think about cutting. the problem is, someone who cuts might do this sort of thing anyway in the way that they cut. As someone who has issues with self harm,I've only cut traditional ways (Razors, drawing blood) a few ways, but there are countless other ways you can harm yourself. skin picking, hair pulling, I used to make small cuts in my gums with earrings or paper clips. I even had a friend who (Drum roll) Would snap herself with rubber bands!
