Question: Can the birth control shot stop your period?
I'm 17 and usually I have my period for a week straight. Two days after I started I got the birth control shot and a day later it got semi heavy and then I noticed it letting up a lot. The next day it was gone. My period ALWAYS lasts for a week straight so could the shot have made it go by quicker?
Answers:
Yes. When I got the shot my period stopped completely until I stopped getting the shot. Also just for extra info, when I stopped getting the shot I got my period again and it was heavier than usual and lasted longer than usual.
