See your doctor. Irregular periods can sometimes indicate an underlying health problem like PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). It's always good to get these things checked out. :-)

amenorrhea is often caused by hormonal changes and is quote common in young females 14-16yo (thought do be due to ovaries not fully developed or an egg not being mature enough to be released), those who are lactating (breastfeeding), pregnant, and those near menopause. stress and anxiety are often indicated as indicators.

It is normal, I have PCOS and the same thing has happened to me. If u dnt get it in the next few weeks go c ur doctor, and if ur comfortable with it, try and get on birth control if ur not already. This helps to regulate ur period, I would kno I'm 20 and have had PCOS for a couple of years now. Hope this helps.

Yeah i have missed mines 3 months and it was just from over stress and i honestly didn't even know i was, and found out it was hormones aswell and they was no way i could be preggers or i'd be the virgin mary haha.Wait another 2 weeks tops if u dont get it than or next month just go see a doctor to be safe!

it happens. i'm 20 now & i've had my period since i was 10. it's been 10 years since i've had my period & my last two periods were each 40 day apart. it happens sometimes - even after i've had my period for 10 years it still happened to me.

Are you sexually active? If so, you should take a pregnancy test. But everyone's cycle is different. I used to only have a period like once in two months. So I got on birth control to regulate my period. Try going to your doctor.

Your periods usually come every 28 days. But if youv had your period for about 3 or so years or less then you're fine Because the first few years your period is irregular. Good luck, girly!

Girlslife.com. <--go there. It's awesome:)

Not a girl but if you haven't had sex then it might be due to athleticism. Athletic girls tend to had delayed periods.
