Question: Dose stop taking birth control make you gain wieght?
i took birth control for about 6-7 mouths and when i started i was about 200 pounds then i lost about 30 now i have been off for about 4 mouths and have gained about 15-20..do you think its because i stopped taking it?

They say it doesn't when you stop but you do when you switch!!! I was on the same birth control for 6 years and then I switched. I gained 15lbs in a month when I started the new kind. I hadn't gained any amount of weight in about 3yrs. I also stopped gaining after being on it for a few months. So it's probably possible!
the doctors and stuff say a side effect of being ON the birth control is weight gain... but i don't think it would make you gain weight if you stop taking it.
