Hi,
I'm 30 years old,almost 31 and I had abnormal period issues before so I had std tests,a pap smear and a ultrasound and I was fine. They said my bloodwork was unremarkable and my pap and ultrasound was normal. But in November after I had sex,I got my period two days later. I am single and didn't have sex again until a few days ago. Now I got my period 2 days later again. Since I checked out ok at the doc, I am not too concerned about it. I just wonder what may be causing it. They told me it was probably anovulatory bleeding. I just again am not sure what is causing it. I cant afford to get on birth control atm if that would help. I'm seeking work,so. Has this happened to anyone else around my age and if so did birth control correct it? It seems like it may be hormonal.

If you are having irregular, anovulatory cycles, then it was probably just a coincidence.
There is nothing about sex that would trigger a period. Rough sex could cause irritation and possibly spotting, but not period-like bleeding.
